Red Bull Air Race
The Red Bull Air Race is one of the most namable
international competitions in high performance aviation. This is where
the ‚who’s who’ of the relatively young ‚Air
Racing’ – pretty much the Formula One of aviation –
compete.
The pilots have to
fly a course designated by inflated markers in accordance with specific
rules and not only compete with other pilots but also with time. For
every participant this presupposes many years of flight experience,
accuracy, a high level of concentration as well as extreme physical
resilience – speeds of up to 400 km/h are no rarity.
